mould and damp wash

 SKS Environmental provides practical damp and mould remedial works for domestic and commercial properties, helping clients deal with affected areas safely and properly. Our approach is focused on treating visible mould contamination and improving the condition of the affected surfaces, with clear, straightforward work carried out to leave the area clean, treated and ready for redecoration. 

 As part of the works, affected surfaces are washed, treated and allowed to dry properly before redecoration takes place. The treated area, and up to one metre beyond the visible affected section, will then be painted with a suitable white-coloured coating with an inhibitor treatment added, helping to improve the finish and provide added protection to the repaired area.

 Where larger areas are involved, additional painting can be carried out so the finished work does not stand out from the surrounding surfaces. Alternatively, clients may choose to paint the full ceiling or wider area themselves, and any surface coated by SKS Environmental can be painted over after 48 hours once fully dry.
